“Garden Kisses” is the debut poetry book by Allegra Handelsman. Set during post-adolescence, the collection is an exploration of modern femininity in all its contradictions: love and heartbreak, desire and fetishisation, vulnerability and agency. The collection features twenty four poems over three chapters, written over the last four years, accompanied by original illustrations created by five artists, a blend of emerging and established talent.The artists include Nettie Wakefield, Imogen Poots, Viviane Lian, Emily Wilcock and Sophie Ives.
